This rugged, high-speed sensor provides linear position and velocity information with control resolution better than .001 at over 200 inches per second (ips). The new sensor is auto-calibrating and can sense virtually any stroke length making it perfectly suited to hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders or almost any linear actuator application where precision and high-speed are a requirement.
